Tomando fotos! / Taking pictures!

Soy... Somos una extensión de la Naturaleza, de la Madre Tierra.  Gracias a ella respiramos y vivimos.  Tenemos tanto en común: nacemos, morimos, re-nacemos.  Lo que sembramos, cosechamos.  Todo es un ciclo.  Por lo tanto, me gusta considerar mi vida como un homenaje a la Madre Naturaleza; desde mis piezas de arte para vestir LEI, mis fotografías, hasta las pocas pinturas que he hecho hasta ahora, etc.

¡Me gusta tomar fotos!  Es capturar la esencia del momento y hacer que el mundo entero vea a través de tus ojos... En ese momento, todos verán lo que viste... y tal vez, sientan lo que sentiste al verlo.  Las fotos son piezas de un rompecabezas que, cuando se van juntando, se transforman en vida... en TU vida.  Cuentan una historia... TU historia.

Pero, como todo, debemos diferenciar cuándo tomar una buena foto y cuándo VIVIR el momento.  Por más que me guste, hay veces en que si tomas la foto, quedará grabada en tu cámara, mas no en tu alma (y ése si es un álbum infinito!).  De vez en cuando, hay que soltar la cámara y dejarse llevar.  En fin, me gusta la fotografía, pero más me gusta vivir!  Pueden ver y comentar algunas de mis fotos en Flickr AQUÍ.

Oh! Y la foto que ven aquí, fue tomada en una de mis playas favoritas, no sólo por su belleza, si no por la forma en que he llegado a ella (siempre como en son de aventura y sorpresa).  Playa de las Estrellas en Bocas del Toro.  Me encantan estos dos colores juntos: el turquesa con naranja!  ¿Qué opinan? :)  Comenta esta nota AQUÍ.

I am... We are an extension of Nature, of Mother Earth.  Thanks to her we breath and live.  We have so much in common: we are born, die and reborn.  We harvest what we sow.  It's a cycle.  Therefore, I like to consider my life as a tribute to Mother Nature; from LEI (my wearable works of art), to my photography and even the few paintings I've made, etc.

I like taking pictures!  It's capturing the essence of the moment and making the whole world see through your eyes... In that moment, everyone will see what you saw... and maybe, feel what you felt when you saw it.  Pictures are pieces of a puzzle and, as they come together, they turn into life... YOUR life.  They tell a story...YOUR story.

But, like everything else, we must learn to differentiate when to take a good picture and when to LIVE the moment.  As much as I like it, sometimes I think, if you take the picture, it will be stored in the camera, but not in your soul (and that's an infinite album!).  Sometimes we have to let the camera go and let things flow.  Wrapping up, I love photography but I love living even more!  Please, feel free to see and comment some of my pictures at Flickr HERE.

Oh! And the picture you see here, was taken at one of my favorite beaches, not only for its beauty, but for the way I've come to it (always with surprise and adventure).  It's Starfish Beach at Bocas del Toro.  I love these two colors together: turquoise with orange!  What do you think? :) Make your comments about this entry HERE.
